Menggunakan sebarang Mikropengawal Seperti Arduino, Microbit  dan lain-lain. 

 

Kos pembinaan projek adalah tanggungan sendiri. 

 

Peserta perlu membawa projek yang telah dibina ke sekolah sebelum 12 November 2019. 

 

Peserta perlu menuliskan dan membuat demonstrasi penggunaan projek sewaktu penghantaran projek. 

 

Keputusan Pengadil adalah muktamad.

Lawatan Sambil belajar Prasekolah SKC Anglo Chinese

     Rombongan lawatan sambil belajar murid prasekolah ke Tao Art Studio, Luyang, Kota Kinabalu telah diketuai oleh Cikgu Lee Mui Foong selaku guru prasekolah, disertai oleh Puan Juriah Marutin selaku Pembantu Pengurusan Murid prasekolah bersama-sama dengan 8 orang ibu bapa dan 25 orang murid prasekolah. Murid-murid prasekolah telah menjalankan aktiviti pembelajaran yang menyeronokkan dan bermakna di Tao Art Studio. Mereka telah memperoleh pengetahuan tentang proses dan bahan yang digunakan untuk pembuatan dan penghasilan tembikar.
     Penglibatan murid-murid secara hands on dan minds on telah berjaya merangsang minat belajar murid-murid. Semua murid telah berjaya menghasilkan tembikar masing-masing dengan adanya bimbingan dan tunjuk ajar dari pihak Tao Art Studio. Selain itu, penglibatan dan penyertaan ibu bapa dalam aktiviti ini turut mengeratkan hubungan ibu bapa dengan anak. Selain itu, aktiviti ini juga dapat mengeratkan jalinan hubungan antara komuniti setempat, pihak pengurusan sekolah, guru dan ibu bapa murid.

Showcasing ACMPBL Latihan ELIT Program TS25

09 Oktober : Murid SKC Anglo Chinese Kota Kinabalu telah dijemput untuk membuat “Showcasing” bagi Latihan Penyebaran Modul 6 Kohort 3 Rakan Educational Leadership And Instructional Team (ELIT) di bawah Program Transformasi Sekolah 2025 (TS25). 3 orang murid PBL Tahun 6 telah membuat “showcasing” dan perkongsian dalam latihan tersebut dengan projek “Anglo Chinese Mushroom Project Based Learning (ACMPBL)”.

2019年中英小学 六年级毕业生欢乐一日游

【亚庇2日讯】10位教师带领143位六年级学生参观可可帝国及Petrosains PlaySmart Kota Kinabalu。

可可帝国是此次参观的第一站。首先,风趣幽默的可可帝国解说员深入浅出地向学生们讲解巧克力的制作过程。学生们在一片欢声笑语中,初步理解了从种植可可树直到制成巧克力的过程。接着,学生们被领到巧克力 DIY坊,兴致勃勃地亲手设计及制作属于自己风格的巧克力饼干。然后,学生们行至可可帝国的拍摄区域,在美轮美奂的拍摄背景下,把美好的时光摄入相机,成为珍藏的回忆。最后,学生们到巧克力贩卖部,琳琅满目的巧克力让师生忍不住自掏腰包,品尝其美味。离开前,可可帝国的负责人还把制成的巧克力饼干及一包巧克力送给学生们,让学生们雀跃不已。

Petrosains PlaySmart Kota Kinabalu是此次参观的第二站。馆内负责人热烈地欢迎学生们的到来,并向学生们简单地讲解馆内的设施。学生们抱着探究科学的精神逐一进行馆内的实验,大家玩得不亦乐乎。此外,馆内负责人还亲自表演魔术,并以科学破解魔术,让学生啧啧称奇。

此次毕业一日游让学生们于玩乐中学习知识及增广见闻,真是获益匪浅啊!

Igniting Digital Making Culture amongst Primary School Students

A total of 27 teams comprising 54 pupils from 9 primary schools in Kota Kinabalu took part in this year’s Junior Innovate 2019 (Kota Kinabalu Zone) competition at SKC Anglo Chinese on last Saturday (28 September).  The same competition (Rural Zone) was held in SJKC Chung Hwa Tenom on 21 September, where 80 pupils, comprising 40 teams from 13 primary schools in Nabawan, Tambunan, Keningau, and Tenom participated. Each team consists of two pupils.  

It was a joint effort between Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, Ministry of Education, Hap Seng Group and Chumbaka, a social enterprise that inspires kids to create with technology.

                Junior Innovate aims to inspire the digital creator mindset and provide life skills to primary school pupils in preparation for the jobs of the future. This year marks the 2nd year for both the state and national levels. Teams that won gold medals were Digital Splash and YEET BOIZ; both from SKC Anglo Chinese; and ALPHA from SJKC Lok Yuk Menggatal. These teams will further compete with 3 other gold teams from the rural zone in a video submission, for 3 spots to represent the State to Nationals at Penang in November.

These Gold medalists stood out amongst their peers with the best project in “Game Design with Technology”.  When asked, one of the participants described the competition made her felt like she was at a funfair with so many Games exhibited, and that it was really exciting to see peers of her age being able to use technology to express their creativity. Mdm Moira David, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Innovation quoted that “it takes a village to raise a child,” acknowledges the efforts of the industries such as Hap Seng Group and Chumbaka in bringing about learning opportunities to students. Mdm Moira was one of the judges as well as officiated the closing ceremony for Junior Innovate Kota Kinabalu Zone.

Digital Maker Hub@SKC Anglo Chinese’s hosted the Initiation of Digital Making Culture program for 14 primary schools in Kota Kinabalu district with the collaboration of MDEC and Hap Seng Group. This program is one of the initiatives by Digital Maker Hub@SKC Anglo Chinese to reach out to the community to encourage the sharing of resources and collaboration amongst schools.  Throughout this 1-year program, 2 teachers from each school were exposed to basic coding, embedded systems (Arduino/ Maker Uno), Design Thinking, Creative Learning and 21st-century teaching skills. The teachers then train their students in taking part in the competition. Mdm Shirley Ong, the headmistress of SKC Anglo Chinese, welcomes students and teachers of neighboring primary and secondary schools to come and learn and play together through digital making. She also stressed that Digital Maker Hub@SKC Anglo Chinese is not just for SKC Anglo Chinese, but for the community to also benefit from the facilities.

2019年青少年创建比赛

一年一度的 青少年创建比赛 于本月28日在亚庇中英学校大礼堂举行。这项由合成集团主办,Chumbaka 协办的比赛开放予亚庇区内9-12岁儿童,
旨在让儿童们有个亲身学习科技并在生活中实践科技的机会,希望借此机会让科技与儿童们的生活更加贴近,使之具备可满足未来工作需求的技能。

今年的比赛主题是“利用科技,创建游戏”。Chumbaka 负责人——戴颖频女士透露比赛的宗旨在于激发参赛者们的创意,发掘参赛者们对于电脑编程技能的潜能,这也正响应了我国教育部近年发起的#mydigitalmaker运动,让学生拥抱科技,跟上世界的步伐。由于比赛是以组别方式进行,因此参赛者们也可借此提升自身与人相处及合作的技能。于此同时,此项比赛也为参赛者们提供了一个以英语沟通的平台,提高参赛者的英语水平之余,也让他们学习呈报和沟通的技能。

来自亚庇区9所小学参与其胜,共27组作品展示人前,参观者们穿梭在各组摊位试玩游戏,现场就象是热闹的游乐园。参赛者们也卖力向评委与在场参观者介绍作品,听了参赛者的呈报,评委们也跃跃欲试,玩遍了全场的游戏。参赛者们充满创意的作品令评委们都啧啧称奇,这也见证了孩童们拥有无限的创意与能力。

颁奖礼前,主办方呼吁各参赛者应尽情享受制作作品的过程,勿过分重视比赛结果,毕竟这是一段学习的旅程。主办方亦希望这项比赛能成为让参赛者们通往未来科技世界的一扇门,并鼓励参赛者在往后日子里继续积极参与电脑编程活动。

共有3组作品在比赛中获得金奖,是分别来自于亚庇中英学校的Digital Splash 和 YEET BOIZ, 以及孟加达乐育小学的 ALPHA。该三组参赛者必须与来自内陆区的三组金奖得主进行影片拍摄,以视频呈报的方式角逐代表沙巴州出征全国赛的机会。
